This video impresses me pretty much, besides the sort of information this guy is talking about which is so important. The most impressive thing in this video is the way he exposes that information and the proposal he does about the way to publish all the data that are “hidden” on the statistical agencies around the world.

I read it today and i am impressed. This guys developed a new membrane that mimics pores found in plants which helps to separate molecules faster and using less energy than other plastic membranes.


The secret to the new plastic lies in the hourglass shape of its pores, which help to separate molecules faster and using less energy than other pore shapes. In plant cell membranes, hourglass-shaped pores known as aquaporins selectively conduct water molecules in and out of cells while preventing the passage of other molecules such as salt.

This is a huge discovery on the environmental foot print reduction of the  industrial processes.
